I graduated from English Language Teaching department of Uludağ University, Bursa, Turkey. I earned my P.hD in Applied Linguistics from Southampton University, UK. Currently, I'm working as a research assistant at the English Language Teaching department of Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Burdur, Turkey. My main research interests include Global Englishes, English as a lingua franca, Language policy and planning, World Englishes and teacher education.
